About

Hi, we’re the Picketts—Glenda, David, and our daughter Maggie Mae!

We’re a Florida-based family of three who spend more time at theme parks than anywhere else (no, seriously—we’re there multiple times a week!). As Annual Passholders to Disney World, Universal, and SeaWorld, we’ve always loved discovering every hidden gem, seasonal treat, and late-night event Orlando’s parks have to offer.

Before Maggie Mae came along, we loved visiting the parks to ride roller coasters and watch the nighttime shows (Fantasmic is our favorite!). But once we became parents, our priorities shifted—and so did our park days. Now, we’re navigating stroller parking, nap windows, and Baby Care Centers instead of roller coasters and fireworks… and honestly, we’re loving this chapter even more.

Park Days With Picketts started as a way to document our days in the parks with Maggie Mae and preserve those early memories. But it quickly became something more—a space to help other parents figure out how to enjoy the magic of the parks with little ones in tow.

Whether you’re wondering where to nurse, what to pack, which rides are baby-friendly, or how to plan a meltdown-free day, we’re here to share what we’ve learned—honestly and in real time.

Fun fact: We used to run a small shop selling Disney-inspired shirts. But after Maggie Mae was born, we decided to shift gears and focus on blogging instead—because this is the kind of resource we wish we had when we were just getting started.

Whether you’re planning your first family vacation or you’re a fellow passholder figuring out how to do the parks with a baby on your hip, we’re so glad you’re here.

Let’s turn theme park days into sweet family memories—one Mickey-shaped snack at a time.
